We are getting info, but we can’t post what we are finding out. Right now, thank god, we do believe he is still alive. But that is all the information I can give at this time. But keep posts, prayers, it is still good for certain people to know we know he is missing, and still the more the better. I wish I could say more, but we are working on it day and night. Thanks again everyone for your help

Update

We have evidence of credit cards usage from the 4th to the 8th, then everything stops. We are not going to post too many details at this time, because it could interfere with tracking him or his cards. But we are a little more hopeful, that until that date, he was the one doing the charges. After the 8th we have no more traces.

Pauls credit card was used
dec 6. At rum jungle
dec 5-7 at mission bay hotel
dec 8 at burger king

we called the hotel and got the records and no one under Paul Zangre booked a room there. Which means someone has his credit cards. We are waiting for the credit card number and the hotel is going to run the number to see what charges were made and check cameras to try and get a face.

I will update when we find out more about it’s usage at the hotel. Again, anyone who has more info on the places, please let us know.

The entire story so far

When Paul moved to California he was living with a guy who had become good friends with. He lived with him from Feb to July. In July, Paul had switched aapartments with his roomates girlfriend. So his roomeates girlfriend moved into the apartment, and paul moved into her apartment. They kept the lease in her name because paul didnt have enough refernces in cali at the time to take over her apartment.

In the meantime, a couple of guys from Korea had moved into a second bedroom in his new apartment to split the rent with him. He had some issues with these two guys, called the police on them once, but supposedly all got resolved.

A couple of days before thanksgiving, pauls old roomate and his girlfriend were calling him to invite him for dinner. He didnt get back to them. On thanksgiving, our family also started calling him, and we couldnt get in touch with him.

On the first of december there was a traffic ticket issued to his car. On the second, the landlord called paul’s friends, whos name is on the lease, letting her know she hasnt seen paul and the rent wasnt paid. The pauls old roomate and the girlfriend went to the apartment that night and entered it checking to see if he was there and alright. He wasnt home, so they left him a note on a chair by the door, and a light on in the kitchen, so they would know if he did come home.

Now at this point the 2 korean guys were scheduled to go back to korea the end of november. They left a note for Paul saying, “how was your thanksgiving? We are scheduled to leave so and so time. The keys are on the table.” So they left, and their numbers are now dissconnected.

His friends waited 2 days, and at this point, his battery had been dead in his phone, and his voicemail full. They went back on the 4th and everything was exactly the same. He had laundry on the bathroom floor from the last time he showered and changed, all of his personal items are there, all of his clothes, luggage, nothing had been packed or taken with him.

At this point his friends called the police, and they said it was to soon, and they werent family calling, so they couldnt do anything yet. They did not have our number at the time and couldnt get in touch with us. At the same time, our family started to worry, because we could not get in touch with him. we also called the police department, and they also told us they couldnt do anything at the time. so we have just been calling and trying to get through on his phone.

On december 12th, his friends went back to the apartment to see if they had been there, this time with the landlord involed. His apartment remained exactly the same, nothing touched, same clothes on the floor, the note by the door had never been read. They again called the police, and this time an officer came and checked the apartment and deciede it was a missing persons scenario. Thats when the friend found my sisters number, called her to let us know he was missing. we then called the sandiego police department, and when they realized paul was not with family, decided to take the case seriously. They have spoken to everyone he knows in california at this point.  The detective is scheduled to investigate pauls apartment on monday morning.

We are trying to figure out this whole thing cause since thanksgiving nobody has been able to reach him, but then a ticket was given on the 1st. So we cannot make sense of anything yet.

That is everything we know from start to finish. So if anyone out there knows anymore, please come forward. He has so many friends and family that want to know where he is.

Dec 18 –

We found out that a traffic ticket was issued to Pauls car on December 1st in Pacific Beach. His apartment was first checked December 2nd, then again on the 4th, where they realized he had not been back, the bathroom was left as if he had showered and dressed to go out with his clothes and shoes being left on the floor.

Nothing in the apartment has been touched since. So we are figuring if he was the one who got the ticket, he left sometime on the first and didn’t come back after that. That is when we figure he went missing. After that there is no more trace of him.

Why are we here?

Hi Everyone,

This site is to help find Paul Zangre. Paul is from NY but moved to San Diego, CA (USA) in June, 2009.

He was last seen or heard from on November 24, 2009.

His address is 5240 Fiore terrace. Apt 302   San Diego, CA 92190.

He hasn’t worked for a few months now and the company he did work for was called Health Markets in San Diego.

He had only a couple of friends there that the detective had spoken to. They were the ones that reported him missing.But they said he was very quiet and kept to himself.  He went to the beach alot.

Not sure about last known sighting, but I am sure it was at the apartment with his old roomates.

One thing that we are concerned about is that the roommates he was with didn’t get along with him. He had to call the cops at one point. In addition, they were scheduled to go back to Korea the end of November. The detective has tried to call them, but their phones are disconnected. So they are gone and around the same time my brother disappeared.

His wallet or phone are “missing” as well.  The phone company an they said there’s been no activity since the 24 of Nov.   All of his luggage, computer, personal items, etc.  are in the apartment.
